Adam & Greenwood have 3 funeral homes in Billericay, Chelmsford & Maldon and own the Woodland Burial Cemetery – Herongate Wood. We are independently owned and family run.

We work within the Funeral sector and can arrange: Funerals – both Burials and Cremations, Ashes Burials, Pre-paid Funeral Plans, Pre-booked plots at our Herongate Wood Woodland Cemetery, Monumental Masonry, Memorials, Keepsakes and Green Burials.

We strongly believe in putting the ‘Family First’ by providing guidance and support at a time when it matters most.

  • We may pass information to 3rd parties associated with the Funeral Arrangements to fulfil the requests you have made. These may be Officiants, Florists, Crematoriums, Churches, Organists, Printers (re orders of service), etc. This will only be done if it is necessary to complete aspects of the funeral or products you have specifically requested.

  • A local cemetery for the purpose of organising burial of the deceased

  • A local musician for the purpose of liaising with you for your musical choices for the funeral service
  • A local florist for the purpose of arranging your choice of floral tributes.
  • On line Donations via ‘Love to Donate’ to process donations made & to communicate to yourself with collection totals once the campaign is finalized.
  • Charity/s selected by yourself so they are able to send acknowledgements of money received.
  • A local printer for the purpose of liaising with you for Orders of Service requirements.

Retention period

Adam & Greenwood Funeral Home LLP &/or sister company Herongate Wood Woodland Cemetery will process personal data for as long as is necessary to allow us to fulfil and complete your funeral arrangements, services & products requested. We will store the personal data for an appropriate period of time to use as a reference point regarding any questions that may be raised in relation to funerals, products or services previously purchased or arranged.

At any point while we are in possession of or processing your personal data, you, the data subject, have the following rights:
